The Chautauqua County Department of Planning and Economic Development is creating a plan to develop greenways and trails as well as to preserve open spaces for recreation, enjoyment and eco-tourism based economic development within the county. This was brought to my attention by Bob Arrowsmith, a local bike enthusiast in our area. He wrote a letter to the NY senator opposing the state’s proposal of installing rumble strips on secondary roads in Chautauqua County.
