Trials on a road bike??

Surfin around on the web the other night, I came across this really unique video of a guy riding trials on his road bike. Whoever he is, he's got some serious talent. Even does a backflip at the very end! Very cool video! Check it out!

The crazy stuff you see when riding

With as many miles as most of you put on during the season, you're bound to see some crazy, odd shit out there. It's been a while for me so I figured I'd share. I was out for some easy pedaling with Joe Gustafson this past Friday when coming back through Lakewood, NY heading towards Jamestown, we spotted this guy walking his girlfriend down Fairmount Ave? It was ...

Interview: James Graley

I had the pleasure of spending yesterday morning with James Graley and Nancy White, a couple who takes bicycle enthusiasm to a whole 'nother level. Together they live way out in Conewango Valley, NY, back in the woods where there's no electricity and no polluted air. After thinking about who's going to be my next person to inteview, James quicklyentered my mind as a unique and interesting person who has ...

NO Rumble Strips!

This was brought to my attention by Bob Arrowsmith, a local bike enthusiast in our area. He wrote a letter to the NY senator opposing the state's proposal of installing rumble strips on secondary roads in Chautauqua County. He was kind enough to share the letter he received in response so here it is! Thanks Bob!

Interview: PICC President

I happened to be passing through Erie, PA last Wednesday and was able to catch Greg Troyer, current president of the Presque Isle Cycling Club for a quick interview on what's happening with their scene. Although their club has members that ride all over the region, their home base is Presque Isle and if you haven't been there to ride yet it's absolutely gorgeous! Check out their site at picycling....

It was brought to my attention today by Doug Sandmire, a local bike enthusiast from the Jamestown area. The feature is still in it's "beta" stage. (for all you non tech savy people, that means they're still working out all the bugs but is good enough for people to start ...
